Magicard’s MA300YMCKO Dye Film is a 5 panel ribbon that utilizes a 4 color process. YMCK or CMYK, that is capable of printing 16.7 million different colors. The panel known as the “K” panel or monochrome is primarily used for variable data like text and barcodes. The MA300YMCKO repalcement ribbon also includes an overcoat panel to protect the color ink on the card from containments such as oils from hands and UV rays.
