The Magicard Rio Pro Single-Sided printer with Mag-Stripe encoding is an excellent choice for professional level, high-security and high-volume card printing. Some highlights of the included features are Magicard's Patented Holokote® System, the introduction of Custom Holokote® and Flex Holokote® with this printer in their product line, field upgrades (no tools required) for single-sided and single-sided card printing, USB and Ethernet connectivity, and one of the best no-hassle warranties in the field - UltraCoverPlus.
This Magicard Rio Pro Single-sided printer with magnetic encoding offers inline printing and encoding of the magnetic stripe. The Rio Pro 3652-0002 has a built-in ISO 7811 Magnetic Stripe encoding module that supports encoding track 1,2 and 3 of High Coercivity or Low Coercivity magnetic stripe cards.
The Rio Pro's Holokote® feature is a quick and easy way to add an additional layer of security to your cards. This is accomplished by adding an anti-copying watermark that is printed on the card surface - similar to a hologram. There is no additional cost with the included four Holokote® watermark options; however, the Rio Pro allows you to purchase a custom Holokote® image that repeats over the card or a custom Flex Holokote® which displays once up to the size of the card. The larger Holokote® Flex watermark permits a much more detailed watermark.
Some ease of use features comprise of USB and Ethernet connectivity, opaque hopper and stacker for easier batch printing, drivers for both Windows and Mac operating systems, and ICC Profiles for trustworthy color reproduction. Physical security features of the Rio Pro include a Kensington lock slot in the base of the printer.
